Sustainability is at the core of everything we do. Argos is constantly evolving and strives for continuous sustainability in areas where it adds value.

At Argos we have a strong focus on sustainability. This applies to both our daily activities and the products we offer and produce. We strive for a future in which we develop and produce innovative and sustainable packaging and protective materials together with our partners.

In every process, we make every effort to limit the burden on the environment as much as possible. We invest in materials and machines that minimise the impact. To ensure high quality, our organisation has various certifications that help us make sustainable choices. These certifications are regularly audited by independent external parties.

FSC®
FSC® stands for Forest Stewardship Council®, this is a non-profit organisation that strives for responsible forest management across the globe. Responsible forest management is becoming increasingly important, which is why the market demand for certified wood products, which can be recognised by the FSC® quality mark, is also increasing. The FSC® certification offers assurance that wood products come from sustainably and responsibly managed forests. Argos is an FSC® certificate holder and as such, we encourage responsible forest management.

BRC
BRC for Storage and Distribution is the BRC standard for storage and transport. This standard applies to organisations that facilitate the storage, distribution and packaging of foodstuffs, among other things. The BRC Global Standard for Storage & Distribution is applicable to all forms of storage and transport. The products are received, stored and distributed and here it is important that the products are kept under the right conditions in this process

With this certification, Argos demonstrates that it operates in accordance with a management system to ensure quality and food safety of products and services.
